 We are also pleased to announce that the Cummins ISX is back with Freightliner. Cummins EGR engines are not like other EGR engines. The exhaust gas recirculation system is simpler and more robust. Together with their patented variable geometry turbocharger and proved engine components, it’s a total package designed to last as long as it’s proven predecessor before an overhaul is needed. With their heavy-duty EGR engines, there is no reduction in life-to-overhaul.
